What is a jamb guard?
A Jamb guard for double swinging impact door is a pedestal that raises the lower door hinge off the floor to prevent it from damage caused by a pallet jack, motorized equipment or caustic soaps. For special applications, a full stainless-steel Jamb guard is also available. (This option is available on all doors)
What is a tear-drop bumper?
Tear-drop bumpers for double swinging impact doors are constructed from rubber or ABS plastic. They protrude from the door about 3-4″ and are available in heights from 18 to 42″. The bumpers main purpose is to reduce the impact from carts, pallet jacks, and motorized equipment. It also serves to hold the doors away from the product as passing through the opening. For carts and pallet jacks a tear-drop bumper of 18-36″ height works best, for motorized equipment, 36 to 42″ is better suited (This option is available on select doors)
What is a full perimeter door seal?
A full perimeter door seal is a blade type rubber gasket that closes the gap between the door and frame. This option helps contain, temperature loss, smoke, bright light, or in some cases, pest control. Most restaurant and retail applications do not require this option. (Available on all doors except sheet doors)
